Forget the Frustration of Defeat, Look Within Yourselves: Chugh to Congress

BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh, while addressing the media, stated that the Congress Party is sinking deeper into frustration and despair due to its continuous electoral defeats. When the Congress failed to confront the pro-poor policies and nation-first ideology of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP on the ground, it resorted to baseless accusations to defame the country. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge’s statement labeling the BJP as a “terrorist party” reflects the ideological void and frustration within Congress. The Congress leadership is confused, driven by the bitterness of constant losses. Kharge’s statement is not only absurd but also a clear reflection of Congress’s mindset. The people of the country now understand everything, and the time has come to seriously investigate the allegations of Congress’s support for “Naxals,” “terrorists,” and “anti-national forces.”

Chugh questioned the Congress, asking who approached the Supreme Court in the middle of the night to stop the hanging of terrorist Afzal Guru, who shed tears for the terrorists killed in the Batla House encounter, who supported the anti-national slogans during Afzal Guru’s anniversary at JNU, which party questioned the surgical strikes and air strikes, and what was the purpose behind the MoU Congress signed with China’s ruling party. He demanded that Mallikarjun Kharge and the Congress leadership must answer these burning questions to the nation.

Chugh further suggested that Kharge and other Congress leaders should introspect before making baseless statements. He criticized Congress’s “Crown Prince” and Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, for daring to defame India during his foreign visits. Kharge repeatedly fails to confront the BJP and Prime Minister Modi democratically, which leads him to use derogatory language. Instead of introspecting on Congress’s recent defeat in Haryana, the party continues to prioritize “vote bank politics,” “casteism,” and “corruption.” The people of the country know how Congress supports anti-national forces and urban Naxals. Congress must reflect and understand why it has lost the trust of the people.
