Five Myanmar women arrested in Jammu’s Bhatindi

Jammu: Jammu police on Wednesday arrested several Myanmar country based women from Bhatindi area of Jammu city.
According to the report, a 40-year-old Burmese woman who is staying illegally in Jammu’s Bhatindi area from a long time brought four women from Myanmar in Jammu on the excuse of providing them good employments in Jammu. The arrested women’s age ranged between 22,23,35, 40, 50.
However, when Police Station Bhatindi Incharge SI Shakeel got inputs about the illegal stay of these women in Bhatindi, he along with his police team went to the accommodation of these Burmese women and nabbed them.
When the women were questioned they confessed to the Bhatindi police about their illicit stay.
A case has been registered at Bhatindi police station in Jammu and further proceedings in this case are underway.
