At least four houses were damaged after a fire broke out in gadood bagh Chandpora Nai Sarak area of Srinagar falling under the jurisdiction of Kral Khud Police Station.
The fire broke out at about 9:30 on Friday late evening. Locals said that smoke emanated from a residential house and the flames spread quickly to other houses.
Firefighters were on job till the filing of this report. Locals said that more houses may come under the impact of fire as the area is congested.
