Fake ED Officers Loot ₹3.2 Crore in Delhi: One Arrested with ₹70 Lakh, Gun and Ammo

In West Delhi’s Baba Haridas Nagar area, the Delhi Police apprehended an individual masquerading as an Enforcement Directorate (ED) officer who, along with accomplices, unlawfully entered a residence and made off with an estimated ₹3.2 crore. A police control room (PCR) team intercepted a vehicle in Narela, seizing a suspect carrying ₹70 lakh in cash.

The Delhi Police’s official communication on the matter stated that the apprehended person was found in possession of a pistol and four live cartridges. “Delhi Police @DCPPCRDELHI personnel pursued and apprehended a suspect attempting to flee in a car after robbing ₹70 lakh. A pistol and four live cartridges were confiscated from the suspect,” the statement read.

Authorities have confirmed that a series of operations are currently underway to apprehend the remaining suspects involved in the incident.
