Karnah, January 23: In a major crackdown on fraudulent activities, authorities in Karnah have uncovered a widespread scam involving the issuance of fake date of birth (DOB) certificates. Reports indicate that many individuals are under investigation for their involvement in the illegal practice.
Acting on credible information, the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) of Karnah has taken strict action against the accused parties, particularly targeting local photostate shop owners allegedly involved in producing the counterfeit documents. In a decisive move, the Tehsildar of Karnah has seized one such shop found guilty of facilitating the forgery. Additionally, an FIR has been registered against the culprits, and further investigations are underway to identify all those involved in the scam.
Authorities have urged the public to remain vigilant and refrain from engaging in such illegal activities, warning of severe legal consequences for anyone found complicit. The administration has assured that stringent measures will be taken to prevent such fraudulent practices in the future.
