The district administration has called explanation of around two dozen Government servants who had attended the meeting of National Conference leader and former Minister Mian Altaf at village Kheora in Rajouri district on February 23.
The meeting was reportedly held at the residence of a police Head Constable.
Some people had videographed the meeting and submitted it to the administration. Later, it was established that nearly two dozen Government officials including Engineers, police personnel and others had attended the meeting of Mian Altaf.
“Further action against the officials will be taken on the basis of reply to be given by the Government officials in their explanation,’’ the officials said.
Meanwhile, the district administration has issued a circular directing all officials not to participate in any kind of political activities.
The officials said stern action will be taken against the officials violating the guidelines.
