Employees Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) in collaboration with District Administration Bandipora on Friday organised “Nidhi Aapke Nikat” programme in Bandipora as part of district outreach and awareness programme.
Deputy Commissioner Bandipora Dr Owais Ahmad presided over the inaugural session of the programme in presence of M A Hakak Nodal Officer Coordination Bandipora, ALC and other senior officers.
Officials said the program aimed at providing handholding support to the stakeholders including employees as well as employers besides hearing their suggestions, inputs and grievances.
Experts said issues and problems faced by the organizations in implementing the EPF and MP Act. 1952 were heard, and necessary actions were taken accordingly. “UAN Activation, Bank and Aadhaar Seeding, filing of online claims, filing of e-nominations, e-sign, filing ECR were explained with hands-on demonstration in the programme”.
The stakeholders, including employees and employers, were informed about the different benefits of the schemes and the procedure to avail the benefits.
DC Bandipora Dr Owais was present in the inaugural session of Nidhi Aapke Nikat and thanked CPFC for such a novel initiative.
During the programme, several grievances were redressed online where a process was set in motion for redressal of several other grievances.
