Srinagar, June 13 (Gulistan News): Over a hundred entrepreneurs allotted plots at the Industrial Estate Pampore (Brick and Tile Factory) have urged the Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and Advisor to CM Nasir Aslam Wani for immediate intervention in resolving a four-year-long delay in land possession.

Despite completing all formalities, including full payment and lease deed execution, the entrepreneurs remain unable to access their allotted plots due to unresolved departmental disputes. The prolonged delay has stalled industrial projects and disrupted the region’s economic growth.

Khalid Subhan Wani, President of the Industrial Estate Pampore, led a delegation of entrepreneurs to meet Chief Minister Omar Abdullah. During the meeting, the delegation detailed their concerns about the delay and its impact on entrepreneurship and local economic development.

The Chief Minister assured the delegation that the issue will be addressed at the earliest and necessary steps will be taken to resolve the departmental disputes. His assurance has brought hope to the entrepreneurs, who have been facing significant financial losses and delays in their plans.

Entrepreneurs believe that resolving the land possession delay will not only enable them to start their industrial operations but also create employment opportunities and boost economic activity in Pampore and its surrounding areas.
