Engineer Rashid, who was arrested in connection with a 2017 Jammu and Kashmir terror funding case, has submitted a regular bail application in Delhi’s Patiala House court. The court has issued a notice to the National Investigation Agency (NIA) regarding this plea and scheduled a hearing for August 28. Rashid, who recently won the Baramulla seat in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections by defeating former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, is seeking bail as his case progresses
