A fresh gunfight broke out between security forces in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kathua on Monday night. This is the third encounter in Kathua in nearly a week. Three terrorists were trapped by the forces in the upper reaches of Kathua.

Security forces established fresh contact with the terrorists in the far-flung Ramkot area in the district.

Reinforcements were sent to the site of the ongoing operation.
