Elvish Yadav, the victor of Bigg Boss OTT 2, was extended an invitation by the Chief Minister of Haryana, Manohar Lal Khattar, to visit his residence on Friday. The Chief Minister posted a photo on Twitter alongside Elvish, expressing his congratulations for his triumph. Enthusiastic supporters have been sharing their reactions to the tweet.
In the photograph, Manohar Lal Khattar is seen presenting Elvish Yadav with a bouquet of flowers. The Bigg Boss winner opted for a casual look, sporting all-blue athleisure attire. In his tweet, the Chief Minister wrote in Hindi, “The dominance of Haryanvis continues in every field.”
He added, “Met the winner @ElvishYadav of Bigg Boss OTT-2 today at Sant Kabir Kutir (Chief Minister’s residence). Hearty congratulations to her for winning the show and best wishes for her bright future.”
Responding to the post, a fan commented, “The current chief minister with the future chief minister of Haryana.” Another added, “Elvish Yadav always on top.” One individual remarked, “Elvish won our hearts and the trophy.” Another commenter noted, “It’s his rule.”
Elvish emerged as the champion of Bigg Boss OTT 2, garnering a substantial number of votes. In the grand finale, he triumphed over Abhishek Malhan and was presented with the Bigg Boss OTT 2 trophy. The announcement was made by host Salman Khan.
Elvish made history with his victory, becoming the first wildcard entry to claim the title. He reached the final two alongside Abhishek Malhan, as many had anticipated. Elvish was awarded a prize of ₹25 lakh.
Reflecting on his triumph, Elvish shared, “I had a feeling that I would win… maybe. Abhishek (Malhan) was quite strong. He had been in the house since the beginning with the support of his million followers. He had a fair chance of winning. But, I never claimed I would be the sole winner.”
“My biggest takeaway is patience,” Elvish added. “Especially when we had to wait for tasks. I would sit and wait for Bigg Boss to announce the tasks. That waiting period was quite challenging. I will carry that lesson with me in life.” Elvish also mentioned that he received 28 crore votes in just 15 minutes during the live voting process.
