Twitter eliminating headlines from articles: According to recent reports, Musk intends to remove headlines from news articles that have been shared on Twitter. This is apparently done to minimise tweet height and allow more tweets to fit in a user’s timeline.
Musk plans to eliminate headlines from news articles posted on X in the near future. Twitter is currently the go-to source of information for its users, with thousands of news stories published on the network by individuals and companies alike. This change means that when you share a link on X, it will just display an image and a URL overlay. There will be no news about it. By contrast, clicking on the link will take the user to the publisher’s website.
If you want to include a headline, you must manually enter it as text alongside the shared link.
Musk also encouraged writers to publish directly on the platform in order to gain more freedom and greater compensation’ in a recent tweet.
“If you’re a journalist who wants more freedom to write and a higher income, then publish directly on this platform,” he wrote.
According to recent reports, X may soon allow its customers to search job posts online. According to an IANS report, Twitter users will soon have access to a job-search function that would allow them to discover jobs on the network.
