Election Commission of India Arrives in Srinagar for Assembly Poll Deliberations

The Election Commission of India (ECI) has arrived in Srinagar for a two-day visit to Jammu & Kashmir to consult with political parties and other stakeholders about the upcoming Assembly elections. The Commission will hold discussions at the SKICC with representatives from various political parties, including the National Conference, PDP, Congress, BJP, Peoples Conference, and Apni Party, as well as with police and civil administration officials.

Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar and other Election Commissioners will lead the consultations, which aim to gather feedback and ensure a smooth election process. The ECI will also visit the Jammu region tomorrow to continue its consultations with stakeholders and party leaders.
