Drass, March 31: Drass, known as the second coldest place in the world, joined the rest of India and the global Muslim community in celebrating Eid-ul-Fitr today with great fervor and devotion.

The Eid prayer was observed at various mosques and at the Higher Secondary School ground in Drass, where the largest congregation gathered. Thousands of worshippers offered prayers at the school ground, led by Imam Jamia, Maulana Hafiz Tariq Ahmad of Gosia Jamia Masjid Shareef.

Other prominent mosques, including Qadim Markazi Masjid Shareef, Darul Tabligh Drass, Sufia Noorbakshia, and Al-Hadeed Drass Masjid, also saw large turnouts as people came together in prayer and celebration.

The spirit of Eid was marked by warm greetings, as people embraced one another and exchanged heartfelt wishes for peace, unity, and brotherhood, not just for their community but for the entire world.
