Srinagar,June 21 (Gulistan News) In view of contniousely Heatwave the Directorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) has officially announced summer vacations for all Govt. and Private Schools up to the Higher Secondary level in the Kashmir valley.

According to Order No. 167-DSEK of 2025 issued on June 21, schools will remain closed for summer break from June 23 to July 7, 2025. The Information Department has been requested to ensure wide publicity through print and electronic media.The directive has been circulated to all Deputy Commissioners, Chief Education Officers, and other relevant officials for immediate action and implementation.

Furthermore, The order instructs the concerned authorities to update the official website of the (DESK).

Following approval from the competent authority, the decision was made to shield students and staff from the extreme heat. (Gulistan News)
