Baramulla : 2 Drug Peddlers arrested; 52 grams of contraband Charas like substance recovered at Ferozpora Crossing Tangmarg; Case registered.
Police under the supervision of Sh Javid Ahmad-JKPS, SDPO Tangmarg assisted by Inspr. Shahnawaz Khan, SHO PS Tangmarg arrested 2 Drug Peddlers namely Arif Ahmad Khan S/O Ghulam Nabi Khan R/O Hoom Tangmarg & Ishfaq Ahmad Mir S/O Abdul Hameed Mir R/O Hariwatnoo Tangmarg during naka checking at Ferozpora Crossing Tangmarg.
During their personal search 52 grams of contraband Charas like substance was recovered from them and were taken into custody immediately.
Cases under NDPS Act registered in Police Station Tangmarg and investigations set in motion. General People of the area hailed the efforts of Baramulla Police and showed their willingness to support police to eradicate menace of drugs from the society which is the real sign of Police Public relationship. Police appealed people to come forward with any information regarding drug peddlers in their locality, and assured them if anybody is found indulge then the culprit will be treated strictly under the law.
