Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has appointed Dr. Naseer Iqbal as the new Registrar of the University of Kashmir on the basis of the recommendations of the selection committee.
In addition to this appointment, the LG has also sanctioned the appointments of Dr. Fayaz Ahmad Loan as the Librarian of Allama Iqbal Library, Dr. Sheikh Ghulam Mohammad as the Director of North Campus, and Dr. Mandeep Singh as the Director of Physical Education.
Udham Dass, the Additional Secretary for the Lieutenant Governor’s Secretariat, stated in a communication that these appointments were made based on the recommendations of the selection committee for various positions in the University of Kashmir on a tenure basis in the Level 14 of the Pay Matrix.
The communication reads, “I am desired to convey the approval of the Lieutenant Governor of J&K (Chancellor) University of Kashmir to the appointment of four vacancies against the respective positions in the University of Kashmir, subject to satisfactory vigilance clearance.”
