DPAP suspends spokesperson Sanam Shah

Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP) on Thursday suspended one of the spokesperson Sanam Shah for issuing a controversial statement targeting the top leadership of the National Conference and its Anantnag Rajouri parliamentary candidate, Mian Altaf.

According to a communique issued by DPAP, “Taking strong objection to the statement given by Sanam Shah one of the spokespersons of the DPAP, against the top leadership of the National conference and its Anantnag Rajouri parliamentary constituency candidate Jb. Mian Altaf, Mr. R S Chib, Chairman Media Committee & General Secretary (org) of the DPAP has suspended Sanam Shah from the basic membership of the DPAP.”

Chib further said that the rank & file of the DPAP disassociates itself from any such un-parliamentary statement.
