Millions of working professionals across the globe use Windows laptops on a daily basis. And we all know that in order to begin using a Windows laptop, you need to sign in with a Microsoft account. However, X (earlier called Twitter) owner Elon Musk is in a state of flux after buying a Windows laptop. The tech mogul doesn’t want to create a Windows account over “privacy concerns” and hence isn’t able to use the device. He has been complaining this issue on X for the last few hours and now, when nobody seems to be responding, Musk has reached out directly to Microsoft chief Satya Nadella.
In a new tweet, Musk wrote that he “doesn’t want to be a pest” and requests the Microsoft boss to look into the matter and allow new Windows users to have the option to skip creating a Microsoft account.
“Satya, I don’t mean to be a pest, but please allow people setting up a new Windows PC to skip creating a Microsoft account. This option disappears if the computer is connected to WiFi. Also, even if you do want to sign up, it won’t allow you use a work email address and I only *have* work emails addresses,” he wrote.
