A meeting of District Level Committee (DLC) was held today under the chairmanship of Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Kulgam, Showkat Ahmad Rather to discuss and approve the cases/proposals under Pradhan Mantri Formalization of Micro Food Processing Enterprises (PM-FME) scheme.
During the meeting, 32 cases were tabled before the committee and after threadbare discussion regarding the various products, their productivity, processing perspective, market viability, etc. chair approved 21 cases with required financial assistance of Rs.1.83 crore under PM-FME for establishment of Micro Food Processing Units.
Chief Agriculture Officer, Ravender Kumar and District Resource Person were urged to guide all these aspirants for establishment of their units.
Among others, the meeting was attended by GM DIC Bashir Ahmad, Chief Agriculture Officer, Chief Horticulture Officer, LDM, Area Marketing Officer and other members of the committee.
