Continuing its endavour to stop the illegal mining and transportation of minerals, District Police Udhampur today seized 02 vehicles involved in illegal transportation of construction material in the jurisdiction of Police Post Tikri.
Police team of Police Post Tikri led by Insp. Nishat Ahmed SHO PS Rehambal and assisted by PSI Manveer Singh IC PP Tikri seized 02 vehicles from Tikri naka point area which were extracting/carrying sand and gravels illegally from river beds.
Both the vehicles bearing registration no. JK02BB 3964 and JK02CS 8839 were seized and later on handed over to Geology and Mining department for further legal action.
