In a concerted effort to combat illegal activities, the District Police Udhampur have apprehended one more bootlegger and seized 26 bottles of illicit liquor.
Police team of PS Chenani alongwith SST team while performing patrolling/ Checking duty naka point at Domail area of Chenani apprehended one more bottlegger namely Neeraj Kumar S/O Chamanlal R/O Chaskoo, Chenani for checking purpose.
On frisking, police team was able to recover 26 bottles of illicit liquor (21 bottles of 250 ml and 05 bottles of 750 ml) from his possession who has been arrested on spot.
Upon this, a case FIR No. 151/2024 U/S 48 (a) Excise Act has been registered at PS Chenani and investigation is going on.
