Dr. Tasadiq Hussain Mir, the Director of School Education in Kashmir, has initiated a large-scale enrollment campaign for the academic year 2023-24. The campaign began at the Government Higher Secondary School in the border town of Salambad.
Through various initiatives, the School Education Department is on toes for the last couple of years to bridge the trust gap between the parents of students and the teachers at government schools.
One of these initiatives which the DSEK (Director School Education Kashmir) has taken is The Enrollment Drive, a campaign run by the School Education Department to enroll more children in government schools in order to ensure universal enrollment and retention of children in government schools.
Door-to-door campaigns and children rallies to parent motivation camps, the School Education Department will launch a mega enrolment effort to enhance student enrollment in Jammu and Kashmir said Dr. Tasadiq Hussain Mir.
This is not for the first time that the School Education Separtment is rejuvenating the work culture in government schools through a different modus operandi, but in the government school teachers have worked like Covid warriors to carry out the teaching-learning process all through the Covid pandemic.
Renowned Academician, Educationist and Administrator, Principal Higher secondary school Salamabad Uri Gh Jeelani Khawaja thanked Director School Education kashmir Dr Tasadiq Hussain Mir for starting Enrolment drive from Border Town of Sub Division Uri. He said Enrolment drive a good initiative for better schooling.
Later Director School Education kashmir Dr Tasadiq Hussain Mir visit Zone Uri, Chandanwari and Boniyar attend the enrolment drive and interact with Students.
