The Director Rural Development Department Kashmir, Imam-ud-Din today flagged-off a group of PRI members for an exposure visit to Himachal pradesh and Uttarakhand.
Earlier before the flag off ceremony, the Director held interaction with all the PRI members and hoped that such exposure visits will help PRI members to embrace culture and patterns of works in other parts of the country.
The PRI members are being sent on exposure visits to other states as an endeavor of the Rural Development Department to get them well acquainted with types of developmental activities being carried under all the schemes.
While exchanging pleasantries with PRI members, the Director reiterated that exposure visits are aimed for Panchayati Raj representatives to explore activities being carried out in other states and help them to get acquainted with the procedures adopted by RDD in parts of the country.
The exposure visits are organized so as to observe and further learn other communities’ development. These types of visits will enable PRI members to gain more and more experience from others outside their own community by direct interaction.
