Director Horticulture Jammu, Ram Savak today launched and chaired the Kissan Samparak Abhiyan of Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP) in village Bahroon of Batote block of District Ramban.
The programme was attended by Chief Horticulture Officer Ramban, District Nodal Officer of HADP, Sectoral officers of Agriculture & Allied sectors, Sarpanch of the panchayat & PRI members.

Speaking on the occasion, the Director Horticulture elaborated threadbare the details of the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme providing incentives / assistance for the welfare of the farming community. He sensitised the gathering about the main components of the programme viz: DAKSH- Learning Management System related to skill development, SATHI- Dashboard to apply online for different Govt. schemes, etc.
During the programme, 15 videos related to HADP were also shown to the gathering to acquaint them with the benefits of the programme. He appreciated the efforts of the Mangla Rai committee for framing such a programme covering every aspect of the farmer related issues in the scheme.
He urged farmers to come forward for availing incentives under the programme and also sought intervention of the farming community for the workable reforms for the upliftment of the economic status of the nation and UT in particular.
Earlier, Chief Horticulture Officer Ramban, Anil Gorka welcomed the Director Horticulture Jammu and apprised him about Horticultural developmental schemes being implemented in district Ramban.
