Desh Bhagat University, home to Desh Bhagat Dental College and Hospital (DBDCH), is pleased to announce a significant increase in its postgraduate seat quota from 2 to 5 across three departments The Central Government’s Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has issued a new notification, confirmed by Dr. Unnati Pitale, Principal of DBDCH.

Dr. Unnati Pitale said that this expansion will be witnessed in the departments of Prosthodontics, Orthodontics, and Conservative Dentistry. “The increase in postgraduate seat capacity marks a pivotal moment for DBDCH,” stated Dr. Unnati Pitale the Principal.

“We believe that by offering more opportunities for advanced education and training in Prosthodontics, Orthodontics, and Conservative Dentistry, we can contribute significantly to addressing the healthcare needs of our society and nation.” Dr. Zora Singh, the Chancellor of Desh Bhagat University.

“The decision by the central government to augment seats in the MDS course for the academic year 2024-25 is undeniably uplifting,” remarked Dr. Zora Singh. “It signifies a collective commitment to advancing dental education and nurturing excellence in healthcare.”This expansion in postgraduate seat capacity reaffirms Desh Bhagat University’s position as a leading institution in dental education, research, and clinical practice.
