14 employees suspended by deputy commissioner poonch found unauthorised absent, show cause notices issued to 21 including some gazetted officers in a series of surprise inspections.

On April 19 DC Poonch, In a significant move against errant government workers who remain absent during office hours. Deputy Commissioner Poonch Mr. Inder Jeet, on Wednesday suspended 14 workers set up unauthorised absent from their licit duties.
Moreover, notices have been issued to 21 workers including some gazetted officers of Jal Shakti, PMGSY, floriculture departments.
Working on the complaints entered from common citizens, PRIs and colorful other diggings, Deputy Commissioner Poonch formed a commission of officers headed by Additional Deputy Commisioner, Poonch Tahir Mustafa Malik, to conduct surprise examinations across all the government services in a phased manner.
ADC Poonch with his workers audited several services including Jal Shakti, PMGSY etc and set up several workers out of office during office hours.
Specially, those absent neither have sanctioned leave in their favor nor have maintained any movement register for field visits.
Some HODs holding important offices are unaware of whereabouts of their immediate staff as well as field staff. Further some HODs are themselves found absent during office hours.
ADC Poonch recommend strict action against workers of these services including HOD’s. Acting on the recommendations of commission, Deputy Commisioner, Poonch suspended further also dozen workers and issued show cause notices wherein Jugs are directed to clear their positions within a week.
“Strict correctional action will be initiated against similar erring hand as per conduct rules on not entering satisfactory explanations”, he added.
Deputy Commissioner further directed all the controlling officers to move towards a professional work culture and maintain the saint ship of government services for which workers are paid freeheartedly. There will be zero forbearance towards poor and unskillful work culture.
General public need not to suffer because of similar erring workers. Deputy Commissioner office will keep a track of all government services working in all tehsils and similar surprise examinations will be a regular miracle throughout the time and will be conducted in colorful phases covering all the government services across the sections.
