The Delhi Police and Delhi Government have officially granted permission to the Jammu and Kashmir Students Association (JKSA) to hold a peaceful sit-in protest at Jantar Mantar, New Delhi, on 14th December 2024. It was earlier scheduled on 5th December 2024, However, due to unforeseen circumstances and the necessary clearance not being granted on time, the protest has been rescheduled to 14th December 2024.
This protest aims to demand the repeal of the unjust reservation policy in Jammu and Kashmir. Our goal is to foster a fair and balanced system that uplifts those in genuine need while ensuring all deserving candidates have access to opportunities.
We seek merit-based opportunities, where individual achievements are recognized, and candidates are assessed fairly based on their abilities and dedication. We believe in fairness and balance within the system.
We urge all students, aspirants, civil society members, and concerned citizens to unite in Delhi on 14th December 2024, at 10:00 AM, to ensure our voices are heard at the highest levels of decision-making. To strengthen our cause, we are inviting like-minded MPs, MLAs, and party presidents from Jammu and Kashmir, cutting across party lines, to stand with us in solidarity.
We urge you to join us at Jantar Mantar on 14th December 2024 to collectively demand a fairer, more transparent system that upholds the principles of equality and provides equal opportunities for all
