“Delhi LG Instructs Transparent Implementation of New Criminal Laws, Emphasizes Collaborative Approach”

Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena conducted a review meeting on the implementation of three new criminal legislations in the national capital, stressing a collaborative and streamlined approach to ensure justice and transparency across all departments.

Delhi Home Minister Kailash Gahlot attended the meeting, while Law Minister Atishi was absent due to a family medical emergency. LG Saxena instructed officials to set specific timelines for ongoing projects related to the new laws.The discussions in the meeting included training health department nodal officers for the MedLEaPR portal, with all central government hospitals in Delhi now onboarded with the portal. MedLEaPR is a web-based reporting system to capture the Medico-Legal Report (MLR) and Post-Mortem Report (PMR) for the Directorate of Health Services in Delhi. A total of 186 Delhi government and 32 Central government doctors are registered, generating 81 reports on the portal.
