District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal, today reviewed the progress on the JPDCL Projects being executed by the project wing in different parts of the district.
The DDC took a detailed review of each JPDCL project and the concerned Executive Engineer apprised about to date status.
The meeting was briefed about the physical and financial status of the projects, including upcoming Receiving Stations and installation of transformers under various schemes like IPDS, PMDP Urban, DDUGJY and PMDP Rural in the district.
Speaking at the meeting, the District Development Commissioner asked the concerned officers to speed up the work on the projects to provide necessary benefits to the common masses upon completion of these projects.
Discussing the issues impeding the execution of works, he asked to maintain interdepartmental coordination to resolve the same in time to avoid delay in the execution on ground for larger public interest.
The DDC also directed the officers to work in coordination and with added zeal to ensure early completion of all projects of the power sector across the district.
Officers who attended the meeting were Chief Planning Officer, Mohammad Khurshid; Executive Engineer Project Wing, Aftab Hussain and other concerned officers.
