District Development Commissioner (DDC) Kishtwar, Dr Devansh Yadav today convened a District Level Review Committee (DLRC) meeting.
During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on CD ratio of the district, identification of beneficiaries, flow of credit, assistance under Government sponsored schemes, performances of banks under District Credit Plan (DCP), achievements made under the above said Quarter, monitoring initiatives and Credit Plus activities.
The DC emphasized on the priority sector lending with special focus on education, women development and agriculture allied sectors. He also emphasized the role of agriculture and horticulture sectors in creating self-reliant and sustainable employment in the district.
During the meeting, the DC launched a Potential linked credit plan prepared by NABARD envisaging a credit potential of ₹324.22 crore for FY 2023-24 under priority sector for the district.
After DLRC, DC Kishtwar reviewed the performance of SBI RSETI for the said quarter. He also gave some valuable suggestions to improve the functioning of RSETIs. Annual Action Plan was also presented in the meeting which was framed under the consultation of different departments of the District.
The meeting was attended by ADDC Kishtwar Sham Lal, Joint Director Planning Mohd Iqbal, GM DIC Mohd Ashraf, Kishtwar Lead District Manager, DSWO Kishtwar Zubair Ahmed, AD Employment Amit Kumar, CAHO Kishtwar, LDO RBI, DDM NABARD, Director RSETI Kishtwar representatives of various banks, District Coordinators, other heads of various Government Departments and sponsoring agencies.
