DDC Chairman Anantnag reviews implementation of District CAPEX Plan

The Chairman, District Development Council (DDC) Anantnag, MY Gorsi along with other DDC members and BDCs held a detailed review of the implementation of District CAPEX plan. Senior officers from District Administration were also present in the meeting.
MY Gorsi, while addressing the DDC members and officers said that the financial year is nearing its end and the plan formulated by the PRI members through active participation of the public is taking shape in different corners of the district. He said that focus has to be on ensuring that all the works are completed well within the stipulated time so that the wishes are fulfilled in real terms.
He reviewed the implementation of works by various departments in the community development blocks. He also discussed the plan formulation for the next year and asked his counterpart members to identify gap areas in development.
The Additional District Development Commissioner reiterated that the departments have demonstrated exemplary discipline in ensuring high quality and time bound work completion. He said the financial expenditure for the current fiscal has crossed 75% of the mark and he is confident that in the coming months, 100% physical and financial progress will be achieved.
The members of the District Development Council also raised issues specific to their areas and the concerned sectoral officers agreed to resolve the issues on priority.
The meeting was attended by DDC members, SE KPDCL, SE R&B, Executive Engineers of various implementing agencies, BDOs and AEE / AEs along with representatives from other line departments.
