Deputy Commissioner/CEO, LAHDC, Kargil, Santosh Sukhadeve today chaired a meeting of the district officers in his office chamber to review the pace of progress achieved on different works under the District Capex Budget 2022-23.
Superintending Engineer R&B, Kargil, Abdul Mutalib, Superintending Engineer, PHE, I&FC Kargil, Maqbool Hussain, Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD), Kargil, Gh. Mohammad, Chief Planning Officer (CPO) Abdul Hadi, District Treasury Officer Kargil, Chief Medical Officer, Kargil, Chief Education Officer Kargil, Executive Engineers of various departments, Accounts Officer to DC Kargil, besides other concerned officers and officials of other departments attended the meeting.
During the meeting, officers from the concerned department apprised DC Kargil regarding the physical and financial progress achieved on ongoing developmental works.
The Deputy Commissioner reviewed the expenditure status of all departments. He directed all the officers to complete the remaining ongoing developmental works at the earliest and stressed upon the officers to achieve 100 percent achievement of expenditure this year.
The DC instructed the concerned officers to complete the tendering process at the earliest. During the meeting, concerned officers also informed the DC about the expenditure of machinery and subsidiary component.
The Deputy Commissioner instructed the district officers to accelerate the pace of works and expedite the booking of expenditure.
DC Kargil stressed for optimum utilization of funds during the current financial year and directed the officers to gear up their manpower and machinery to complete the developmental works within the stipulated timelines.
DC Santosh stressed that the financial rules should be followed in letter and spirit. He also directed to ensure that the works are accelerated to create tangible results on the ground.
The Deputy Commissioner also directed officers to start developing ideas for the incorporation of new schemes and projects in the next financial year. DC Kargil also directed the concerned officers to book maximum expenditure of the works as soon as possible.
