Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal today released an amount of Rs 40.18 Lakh in favor of the wards of registered construction workers as Education Assistance under the J&K Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (JKBOCWWB).
The Government is running several schemes for the welfare of Building and other Construction workers with the objective of regulating the employment and conditions of services and providing safety, health, and welfare of registered workers.
The Deputy Commissioner asked the Assistant Labour Commissioner to keep working hard for the welfare of workers in the construction sector and strive to provide timely and effective support to them.
