The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Ayushi Sudan Friday paid visit to Gurudwara Sahib Maidan Chogal and Deedarpora to extend warm greetings to the members of Sikh community on the auspicious occasion of Guru Purab, the Prakash Parv of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji.
On the occasion, Deputy Commissioner interacted with the local Sikh community, offering prayers and extending warm wishes to the devotees.
DC was accompanied by ACR Kupwara , Tehsildar Handwara and other officers.
The Gurudwara authorities expressed satisfaction over the arrangements and conveyed their gratitude to the Deputy Commissioner in this regard.
While extending her warm greetings on the auspicious occasion, the DC expressed hope that this event would contribute towards strengthening brotherhood, unity, harmony and would be a harbinger of peace, progress and prosperity.
