Doda, January 20 (Gulistan News Tv) : Deputy Commissioner Doda Harvinder Singh, in collaboration with the Sanatan Dharma Sabha, flagged off the Prayagraj Maha Kumbh Yatra 2025 here today from Ganpat Bridge. The event witnessed the active participation of Sabha members and local devotees across the district, who came together to mark the spiritual journey with enthusiasm and devotion. The ceremonially adorned vehicles carrying pilgrims symbolized unity and faith.
The Prayagraj Maha Kumbh Yatra holds immense spiritual significance, leading devotees to one of the largest religious gatherings in the world. The Kumbh festival, celebrated every 12 years, is a confluence of spirituality, tradition, and faith. This year, millions of devotees will converge at Prayagraj to take the holy dip at the Triveni Sangam—the sacred confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and the mythical Saraswati rivers—to cleanse themselves of sins and attain spiritual liberation.
