DC conducts public hearing at Panchyat Ghar Bidda Block Arnas

Deputy Commissioner, Reasi, Babila Rakwal today conducted an extensive visit of Block Arnas and listened to public issues and demands during weekly Block Diwas at Panchayat Ghar Bidda.
During the programme, PRI members including general public of the area raised many issues and demands like speed up of JJM tendering process, Requirement of 50 electricity poles, Scarcity of drinking Water in the area, Clarification of FRC claims, Establishment of Health sub centre, Unscheduled power cuts, Construction of playground, Establishment of , Veterinary sub centre etc.
Responding on the issues the DC issued on spot directions to the concerned departments for resolving the projected issues.
DC urged upon the general public and their representative to work in tandem with the line department for effective execution and monitoring of the schemes for the larger benefits of the general public. She added that PRIs shall focus on Sanitary needs of their panchyat by constructing Soakage/Composed pitts under MGNREGA and Swach Bharat Mission Gramin.
While interacting with the PRIs as well as general public of the area, the DC said that such platforms enable District administration to know the problems being faced by the people. She asked the officers to inform the people about income generating and beneficiary oriented schemes launched by the Government of India and UT Government.
The Block Diwas was attended by POICDS Anwar Bandey, CHO Brij Vallabh, CEO, CMO, CAHO, DSHO, LMO, Ad Fisheries,BDO and large number of PRI members of Block Arnas.
