In order to review the progress achieved on the Digital India Land Records Modernisation Programme (DILRMP), the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Baramulla, Dr Syed Sehrish Asgar today chaired a meeting of concerned Officers of Revenue Department at meeting hall of DC Office, here.
At the outset, the DC took a detailed review of the computerization of Land Records including digitization of Jamabandies, authentication of Jamabandies, quality check of scanned data, implementation of Online Services, DPR for upgrading Tehsil Offices/ Patwar Khanas and other related matters.
While discussing the Digitization of Land Records, the DC directed the concerned authorities to complete the process of Digitization of Masavis (Maps) in the district by the end of this month besides rectification of digitized land Records. She also exhorted upon the departments to all-together implement the online services for the ease of the general public.
It was also given out that the process of generating Land Passbooks should be completed for its timely distribution among the beneficiaries.
Regarding online services, the DC asked the officers to ensure effective, efficient and prompt implementation of Public Services Guarantee Act. She directed them to work with added zeal and missionary approach to ensure hassle free public services delivery system and time bound redressal of online grievances of the people.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Sopore, Parvaiz Sajad; Assistant Commissioner Revenue Baramulla, Peerzada Mumtaz Ahmad; Tehsildars besides officials of the concerned departments were present in the meeting.
