Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Shakeel-ul-Rehman Monday conducted a comprehensive field visit to Ahamshareef, Kaloosa, and other areas to assess the preparations ahead of Navratri and Eid-ul-Fitr.
An official spokesman in a statement issued here said that the DC was accompanied by ADDC, M Ashraf Bhat; ADC, Umar Shafi Pandit; DIO, Naseer Ahmad; DySP, Tehsildar Bandipora, Executive Engineers, and others concerned.
The DC, along with a team of officers visited Markazi Eidgah Bandipora, Sharda Temple Kaloosa, and Ahamshareef Shrine to assess the preparations and identify any areas for improvement ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr and Navratri.
The DC on the occasion directed concerned heads of various departments to make necessary arrangements in advance to avoid any inconvenience to people/devotees.
At Markazi Eidgah Bandipora, the DC interacted with local Auqaf committee members and took stock of facilities, including crowd management arrangements, sanitation measures and security protocols.
He directed the concerned to ensure that all necessary arrangements are in place to facilitate the smooth observance of Eid prayers.
