Desh Bhagat University’s Department of Allied Health Sciences organized an event on National Vaccination Day.
The event, graced by esteemed dignitaries including Chancellor Dr. Zora Singh and Pro-Chancellor Dr. Tajinder Kaur, aimed to raise awareness about the significance of vaccinations in disease prevention. Miss Aazima Gulzar, a renowned Radiologic Technologist, delivered an insightful talk on the importance of National Vaccination Day, inspiring and educating attendees about the pivotal role vaccines play in maintaining community well-being.
The interactive session facilitated by Dr. Zora Singh encouraged lively discussions among students, stressing the importance of fostering a culture of vaccination within the healthcare community. Students actively engaged in various activities such as poster presentations, speeches, and cultural performances, showcasing their commitment to promoting vaccine awareness. Around 30 students participated in these competitions and more than 150 students joined the event. Dr. Animesh Roy, Director of Allied Health Sciences, expressed a vote of thanks.
