Two Mumbai Metro lines – 2A and 7- opened for commercial and revenue-generating operations at 4 pm on Friday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the newly-constructed two lines on Thursday.
The two metro lines 2A and 7 were granted safety clearances by the Commissioner of Metro Rail Safety (CMRS). Line 2A connects Dahanukarwadi in Kandivali to DN Nagar and line 7 connects Aarey Road to the Andheri Highway.
