Dr. Syed Darakhshan Andrabi, Chairperson of the J&K Waqf Board, declared Jammu and Kashmir a land ripe with business opportunities at the launch event for Tesla Power USA’s products and services.
The high-profile function, organized by the Barooj Group of Companies, was held at Nigeen Club Srinagar on May 15, 2024, and drew an impressive gathering of business leaders and promoters from across the region.
Dr. Andrabi, who attended as the Chief Guest, underscored the significance of this event for Kashmir’s business landscape. “In peaceful Kashmir, global platforms are eager to extend their business chains to this paradise on earth.
Our brilliant minds are showcasing their innovative skills to align with new business ventures. J&K has now become the land of possibilities, with new initiatives in various sectors enhancing job opportunities for our youth,” she stated in her address.
Mushtaq Chaya, Chairman of the Hotelier’s Club, Mr. Tariq Ghani, Chairman of the Associated Chamber of Commerce and Industries Kashmir, Rohit Karan, Executive Director of Tesla Power USA, and Pooja Sharma, National Business Head of Tesla Power, were among the distinguished guests of honor.
The event featured the launch of a range of products from Tesla Power USA, including electric vehicles, batteries, and solar power appliances and panels. A comprehensive video demonstration highlighted the innovative technological products and services now available in Srinagar. Bilal Parray provided an overview of the new facilities, products, and business schemes in the valley.
Dr. Andrabi expressed her gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for bringing lasting peace to Kashmir and acknowledged the efforts of the UT administration under Manoj Sinha in fostering a business-friendly environment.
