Current iPhones receive a price cut of up to Rs 6,000 as Apple plans to manufacture the iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max in India.

Apple has cut the prices of iPhones in India. Following a reduction in import duties on components to 15 per cent from 20 per cent, announced by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Apple has slashed the prices of made-in-India iPhones by 3-4 per cent. While Apple has yet to officially announce this or reflect the new prices on its India website, India Today Tech has learnt that iPhone 15 Pro Max, iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 14, iPhone 13 and iPhone SE prices in India are being slashed by Rs 300 for some models and up to Rs 6,000 for others. Notably, this is the first time that Apple has reduced the price of the current Pro models in the Indian market. With the price cut in place, which should soon start being reflected on the Apple India website and for other online and offline retailers, iPhones that are manufactured in India, which include the iPhone 13, iPhone 14 and iPhone 15, will see a price cut of around Rs 300, whereas the iPhone SE will be cheaper by Rs 2,300. Meanwhile, the Pro and Pro Max models will see a price cut between Rs 5,100 to Rs 6,000.
