CRPF 44th Battalion organizes medical camp, skill development programme in Budgam

Budgam, Oct 18: The 44th Battalion of CRPF successfully conducted two major Civic Action Programmes on Thursday at Imambada ground, Magam, Budgam: a Medical Camp and a Skill Development Training Programme.
The Medical Camp provided essential healthcare services to local residents, including free consultations, diagnoses, and distribution of medicines. Special attention was given to women, children, and the elderly. Commandant Rishi Raj Sahay inaugurated the camp and emphasized, “Healthcare is a crucial need, and we are committed to supporting the well-being of the community through such initiatives.”

Simultaneously, a Skill Development Training Programme was launched at Wyath Skills Centre. The programme, under CRPF’s Civic Action Plan, aims to equip unemployed youth with valuable technical skills in courses such as Assistant Electrician and Home Appliances Technician. Commandant Rishi Raj Sahay highlighted the initiative’s role in addressing unemployment, stating, “By empowering our youth with practical skills, we are creating pathways for employment and self-reliance.”

Both programmes reflect the CRPF’s dedication to supporting the socio-economic and health needs of the people of Jammu & Kashmir.
