Active cases of Covid are present in all the twenty districts of Jammu and Kashmir. It has maximum 77 cases in Srinagar and 62 in Jammu.
Covid has gained momentum in Jammu and Kashmir. In the last 24 hours, 95 new cases have been found at double the speed. The capital Jammu and Srinagar are the most affected. 24 people were found infected in Jammu and 17 in Srinagar.
Most cases have been found for the first time this season. The number of active cases in the state has risen to 309, including 211 cases from Kashmir division.
The increasing spread of Covid infection in the state has increased the concern of the health department. Active cases of Covid are present in all the twenty districts of Jammu and Kashmir. It has maximum 77 cases in Srinagar and 62 in Jammu.
On Friday, 5-5 cases were found in Baramulla, Budgam, 3 in Pulwama, 4-4 in Kupwara, Bandipora, 6 in Ganderbal, 11 in Kulgam, 2 in Anantnag. In Jammu division, 2-2 cases have been found in Udhampur, Kishtwar, 1-1 in Rajori, Doda, Poonch, Reasi, 3-3 in Samba, Ramban. In the last 24 hours, 3005 Covid tests were conducted in the state.
Increased Covid testing has led to an increase in infected cases. In active cases, 31 people have been kept on home surveillance. 24 patients have also recovered in Jammu and Kashmir, of which 23 cases are from Kashmir.
In view of the increasing cases of Covid, the medical center managements have been instructed to make all necessary arrangements. Along with this, preparations are being made for the mark drill to be held on 10th April. There is a possibility of increase in the cases of Covid in the coming days.
