In a shocking incident, a J&K Crime branch police head constable and his associate were allegedly held captive and thrashed by drug smugglers in Jammu.
According to the report, the incident took place when a police team of Phallian Mandal police post went to arrest a drug supplier namely Mashkoor, but when the cops reached at Karnala Chak the nacro smugglers attacked them with batons and held them captive in a room.
After an hour when the wounded police officer Rajinder informed Phallian Mandal police they reached at the spot and rescued the policemen from the drug suppliers.
A case under sections 342, 347, 348 has been registered against the accused at Phallian Mandal police station.
