A Jammu & Kashmir cop who was deployed at SSP office Samba has passed away in a mishap in the district.
As per report, the accident happened when the constable was returning home after performing duty yesterday evening then a speeding vehicle struck him, when he was awaiting public transport near DC office Samba on Jammu-Pathankot National highway. The cop suffered grievous wounds in this accident.
After the road accident, the victim was rushed to District Hospital Samba, where the doctors declared him life less on arrival.
The constable was identified as Ajay Sharad resident of Kathua.
