A J&K police head constable died while a lecturer suffered injuries in a road mishap that happened in Goha, Marmat area of J&K Doda district on Monday.
According to the report, two persons travelling in a car (JK06A2389) met with an accident when their vehicle plunged into a gorge around 9:50am at Goha Tehsil Marmat in Doda, following which the cop in the car died on the spot and the other person who is a lecturer sustained serious wounds.
The deceased has been identified as Roshan Kumar (46) resident of Goha, Marmat of Doda and the injured has been identified as Tanvir Wani (51) s/o Fazal Wani r/o Goha, Marmat was first rushed to PHC Doda, but after first aid he was taken to GMC, Doda. But when his health further deteriorated he has been airlifted to GMC, Jammu for specialised treatment.
