LPG cylinders’ prices: The prices of commercial LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) cylinders have been revised across the country. A 19-kilogram commercial gas cylinder will now cost Rs 1,773 in Delhi, effective from June 1.Last Month, the price of a commercial LPG cylinder in the national capital was Rs 1,856.50.
This is the third time in three months that rates of commercial LPG cylinders have been slashed.
In Kolkata, the commercial LPG cylinder will be available at a cost of Rs 1,960.50, down from Rs 1,875.50. In Mumbai, the rate of a commercial gas cylinder has come down from Rs 1,808.50 to Rs 1,725. In Chennai, the commercial LPG cylinder will now cost Rs 1,937, down from Rs 2,021.50.
Rates of domestic LPG cylinders are unchanged for this month. They were last revised in May.
In Delhi, a domestic LPG cylinder, weighing 14.2 kilograms, is available at a cost of Rs 1,003. In Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai, the rates of domestic gas cylinders are Rs 1,029, Rs 1,002.50, and Rs 1,018.50, respectively.
