J&K schools: Class work suspended after incessant rains

Class work has been suspended in most of the schools in J&K, especially Kashmir valley, in view of incessant rains and water logging, officials said today.

In view of inclement weather and avalanche warning issued by JKDMA, the class work in all the schools is suspended across the Kupwara District on 29-4-2024 as a precautionary measure for the safety of students. However, the teaching/ Non- teaching staff shall attend their duties to monitor the situation and ensure safety of institutional assets of their respective institutions.

In view of the inclement weather and the rainfall, the Class Work shall remain suspended today on 29-04-2024 in all HS/MS and PS (Govt and Private).

All the HOI’S shall personally monitor the situation and keep an eye on all the educational institutions under their control to avoid any risk of life or property.

In case of any eventuality, the undersigned be informed accordingly.
